New Meadowlands Stadium

New Meadowlands Stadium will welcome the players with NFL jerseys at 2014.

Mark Lamping said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press on Friday night that The New Meadowlands Stadium Companies is concentrating solely on presenting a solid bid to the league by the April 1 deadline.

“All we are focusing on now is making the best possible proposal we can,” said Lamping, the president and chief executive of the New Meadowlands Companies. “The number of cities bidding against us is not important. We’re working diligently on putting together the bid and we’re confident we’ll make a compelling bid.”

Wes Welker is going to return

Wide receiver Wes Welker with patriots jersey moved out more than three weeks from having knee injury. And his road to recovery has had no bumps. A league source told the Boston Herald that Welker is doing "very well", considering how early he is in the rehabilitation process.

There are no guarantees that Welker will be ready to play when the season begins because of the severe nature of repairing a torn left ACL. With Welker’s health something New England officials will watch closely all season and the long-term status of Randy Moss in question, it increases the chances a team will select a wide receiver in the early parts of the 2010 draft.

Feely open to returning to Jets

Feely with colts jersey helped the team reach the Super Bowl as an injury replacement for Adam Vinatieri.

Now that the Jets have signed Nick Folk and Feely is a free agent after turning down an offer from the Jets, it seems like the AFC East franchise has moved on. From his standpoint, Feely isn’t giving up on the possibility that he could possibly come back to compete with Folk for the job. "I appreciate all the support from the Jets fans," Feely wrote today on his Twitter account. "I have truly enjoyed being a Jet and my sincere wish is to be one til the end of my career."

Feely now must be prudent enough that he will bekicking for the Jets this season.

Don Nelson's job is safe

The Wrriors are 16-39 and as the most cases we always see, this would get the coach fired.

But the Warriors are not most cases, as CSNBayArea.com’s Matt Steinmetz found out when he spoke to GM Larry Riley: “As far as we’re concerned, I’ve seen him in a lot of situations,” Riley answered. “He has not lost the ability to coach or forgotten how to put teams together as far as strategy and using lineups and so forth. “He’s going to get the record. But at the same time, if it wasn’t for that, I’d still like him as a coach. And I like the style of play that we use. And it’s important that we continue to go forward with that style of play, and he’s the guy to coach it.”

It is sure that Don Nelson’s job is safe. The players with warriors jerseys will be still coached by him.

Kevin Gilbride Jr. step in Giants

The New York Giants hired Kevin Gilbride Jr. as an offensive quality control coach to work under his father, the offensive coordinator.

“Kevin is very aggressive and a very energetic young coach,” Coughlin said in a statement released by the team. “Quite frankly, I investigated him three or four years ago. He’s busted his tail to get where he is. He was a graduate assistant at Syracuse, so I knew about him there and the coaches were very favorably impressed by what he was able to accomplish there.”

Jr. takes the position of Sean Ryan. We wonder to know when all the players with giants jerseys

Cofield will stay in Giants

Defensive tackle Barry Cofield with giants jersey will be happy to return to the team.

Cofield, a four-year starter, has been a stalwart in New York’s interior line rotation, and is working hard at the team’s facility to be a important part of new defensive coordinator Perry Fewell’s 4-3 scheme. "I’ll be around, I’ll be working out, and I love being with the Giants," Cofield told the Newark, N.J., Star-Ledger. "I wish it was a long-term thing. But the opportunity to be there for one year is a great opportunity."

We are pretty sure that this guy will stay a Giants DT.

Moss wants to walk out Patriots

Randy Moss would say goodbye to patriots jersey past 2010.

He said he does not expect to be in New England pst 2010. "I understand the beast, the nature of it. I think that just with what I think and waht I know I do not think they are going to re-sign me back, so, after this season if there is not a lockout I will be looking for a new team." the Boston Globe quoted Moss as saying.“I got a lot of respect for the Patriots and what they did for me amd my family. So, the only thing I can do is just play this year out and see what my future holds after that."

Absent McKinnie was asked to pay back the reimbursement

Left tackle Bryant McKinnie with vikings jersey was asked to pay back the NFL for his non-participation in the Pro Bowl.

The NFL said Friday it will require a $4,285 reimbursement from Mckinnie for expenses incurred that week in Miami. Mckinnie skipped most of the team practice and obligations, and was then absent from the NFC all-star squad. NFL spokesman Randall Liu also said McKinnie has forfeited his $22,500 game check.

Liu said the league's competition committee will review the matter and determin whether additional action should be taken to deter such conduct at the Pro Bowl in the future.

Magic's reaction

Antawn Jamison will wear the magic jersey through yesterday's trade.

“It doesn’t scare me,” [Rashard] Lewis said. “I’ve been on all star teams as well as him. I think it’s going to come down to who executes better on the defensive end. Most definitely a great player. … At the same time one guy doesn’t win ballgames. They do have another guy called LeBron James(notes) which is going to be our focus.” Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy said the acquisition made the Cavaliers “pretty formidable.”

Van Gundy said they are already the best three point shooting team in the league and they get another guy who can stretch the floor with Shaq inside, LeBron on the perimeter.

Injured All-Star Roy still make the trip to Dallas

Guard Brandon Roy with trail blazers jersey won’t play in the All-Star Game because of his injured hamstring, but that doesn’t mean he’s totally off for the weekend—Roy still will have to travel to Dallas for the weekend’s events.

“It’s just a rule that I have to be there,” Roy told The Oregonian. “But it’s no big deal. For me, I’m just thinking about (what’s best for) the injury and the treatment. But it’s something that the players have to be a part of.”

Likewise, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant would need to make an appearance even if he can’t play because of his sprained left ankle.

Santa Clara to plan the stadium measure

Players with 49ers jerseys may have a new stadium.

On Tuesday night, the Santa Clara City Council is scheduled to discuss language that city staffers describe as a multilayered question asking voters if city leaders should approve the stadium deal. But backers of the proposed $947 million stadium have expressed concerns the language regarding funding is confusing. They hope to get the wording altered before the ballot is made available to city residents. City officials have said the stadium would generate hundreds of jobs and tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue, but critics worry about cost overruns and traffic problems.

Durant is popular

Kevin Durant with No.35 thunder jersey would have a better chance to show his professional if he worked in street clothes.

If only Durant led the Thunder from the sideline, in loe-cut Cole Haans rather than those swooshy sneakers, in a coat and tie rather than his blue-and-orange skiwies. As it stands, his head coach, Scott Brooks, has a better chance of taking home personal hardware than does his precocious superstar.

It would be the coach of the year award, which has a lower threshold for those who win it--the MVP award.

Robinson, strong hand help Knicks

Nate Robinson with No.2 knicks jersey made the chance by playing himself into the starting lineup.

Robinson scored 23 points, Al Harrington and Hughes also put in double figures off the bench, and the New York Knicks beat the Wizards 107-85 on Wednesday night to snap a three-game losing streak. “In the first half we were dead in the water and I didn’t feel like there was any life,” D’Antoni said. “We weren’t giving anyone in the building anything to cheer about. I just thought we needed Nate to show some energy and he did, and the rest of the guys responded really well.”

They kept the energy and kept the pressure on for the most part.

Bosh won't be traded

Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo claimed that he won't trade star power forward Chris Bosh with No.4 raptors jersey.

“The calls are a lot less frequent, and it’s a lot less focused on Bosh,” Colangelo told the Toronto Star. “Everybody starts with, ‘Well, apparently you’re not trading Bosh, so can we talk about so-and-so?’ Our intention is, we’re not going to move him, so we’re not discussing a scenario (that includes Bosh)." Although the Raptors run the risk of not being able to re-sign Bosh when he becomes a free agent this summer, the team has turned its season around after falling to 11-17 at one point in mid-December. Heading into today’s game against the Knicks, Toronto is 25-22 and has moved into a playoff spot in the East.
